Grünerløkka Lufthavn – a local cultural institution since 1994 !
Café Mir and the stage are said to be the heart of Grünerløkka Lufthavn (airport). We have many exciting and beautiful concerts and other mysterious events and all rights! The age limit is 20 years. At Mir you can scroll freely on the wireless internet, read cartoons or play chess, backgammon and other games. In addition to lots of concerts and DJs every Friday, we have a sports-free quiz every Monday.
In the backyard Gallery 69 shows a wide range of high quality artistic expressions, performed by ingenious and sympathetic artists of all ages from different environments, enriching the 69’s gallerists and audiences. Gallery 69’s exhibits are produced specifically for the gallery room.
Grünerløkka Lufthavn purpose is to create common spaces for different forms of expression in cultural life in Oslo. We do this by offering workspaces for artists in many fields. We have 45 work rooms. Five of them are soundproof practice rooms for bands, several are sound studios and the rest are work spaces for visual artists and musicians.
