Popsenteret is Norway`s capital-based interactive museum of popular music. We exhibit the vast history of Norwegian popular music and culture, with a particular focus on Oslo and its surrounding regions. The museum makes use of cutting-edge audio-visual technology, inviting guests to record a song in our music studios. A great souvenir for friends and family back home! Engaging interactive experiences, exhibitions and DIY studios – learn to play keyboards from Röyksopp, bass from the bass player of a-ha, og guitar from the guitarist of legendary Norwegian rock band Raga Rockers, and much more. Popsenteret is a must-visit for music fans of all ages.
English signage and subtitles throughout the exhibitions, and a pocket guide will assist you on your journey. English tours of Popsenteret are available by booking in advance.
Popsenteret is summer closed from July 4th until July 31st.
